Silverstone Auctions ‘marches’ forward with Sytner collection

Three Frank Sytner owned single-seater race cars from the 1970’s representing Formula’s One, Two and Three, which have recently returned from the prestigious Historic Grand Prix of Monaco event, are to be auctioned at the Silverstone Classic Sale on 21st July. Leading the pack is a 1972 Formula One March 721G, estimated at between £240,000 to £280,000. Hot on its heels is a 1978 Formula Two March BMW 782, estimated at between £95,000 to £105,000 and a 1978 Formula Three March 783, estimated at between £45,000 to £55,000. Entries to the forthcoming Silverstone Classic Sale are literally off to a flying start with the news that a 1992 Benetton Formula One car raced by both Michael Schumacher and Martin Brundle is one of the first confirmed lots.
