Today St James’s, London SW1 revealed its celebratory Diamond Jubilee wrap on Piccadilly in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It also heralds the forthcoming London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, when the eyes of the will be focused on the capital.The giant 50 metre wrap, covering ongoing works at The Crown Estate’s landmark £100 million St James’s Gateway project, shows a graphic of a giant Union flag in shades of blue and white confetti, emblazoned with the words Happy. Glorious. Victorious.
