32% of online insurance sales lost due to bad navigation or no ability to buy online
Insurance companies whose websites are hard to navigate are losing around 14% of sales, reveals new research* from digital marketing specialists Speedie Consultants .The study of people’s insurance buying habits showed that 27% of people do not buy their insurance online. And while 39% said this was mainly due to concerns around payment security issues, 14% said they had tried to buy online and had given up due to a site being too hard to navigate. Also, surprisingly, 18% said that while they wanted to buy online, they were not able to, due to their
