About TAG Pet Rescue: Founded in 1988, TAG Pet Rescue (charity no 1110837) aims to: shelter and re home unwanted, abandoned and stray animals; encourage spaying and neutering; educate the public into going beyond the basics in pet care; and, raise awareness as to the instinctive drives and needs of captive pets.

Deaf Cassie the cat seeks a loving indoor home

TAG Pet Rescue, the Thanet-based animal shelter, is looking for a forever home for Cassie, a very special cat.Pretty, white Cassie is 8 years old and is a friendly, playful small cat with lots of character who loves people and lots of attention. Sadly she has been at TAG for over a year now due to her needing a special home. TAG Pet Rescue seeks a long term foster home for a special cat

TAG Pet Rescue, the Thanet-based animal shelter, is looking for a foster home for Zimba, a very special cat.Handsome tabby cat Zimba is 7 years old and has been in isolation at TAG Pet Rescue for 4 months and is now ready to go to a very special foster home. This means that TAG will pay all Zimba’s vet bills and will be very hands on and support his foster carer all the way. Zimba suffers from Stomatitis which is an inflammation of the mouth and he also has an infection called Calci Virus which can be passed on to other cats. He has just started a new regime of treatment with steroids

Meet the animals and raise funds at TAG Pet Rescue’s Open Day on 23rd August

TAG Pet Rescue, the Thanet-based animal shelter, is holding its annual Open Day this year on Sunday 23rd August.The day runs from 10am-4pm and visitors will be able to browse books and crafts stalls, enjoy a BBQ, cakes and other food and refreshments, music, a china smash and even get their face painted at this fundraising event! Local animal shelter in desperate need of volunteers
