Toscana Resort Castelfalfi is proud to present to the world its new Websites with Online Shop & Pressroom
Dear friends, I want to share an incredible piece of heaven in Toscana in Italy. Near Lajatico where Andrea Bocelli was born. Great scenery, fantastic food, wine and great golfing
Having the possibility to take lessons from a young Michelin-starred chef is something quite unique and will allow guests to bring back home a taste of Tuscany that will always remind them of this memorable experience
From the very outset the idea was to restore the ancient village and bring it back to life. We are preserving the site’s original structure and reinstating part of Italy’s heritage, but with all the additional modern services and standards that you would expect from such an upmarket resort.
We searched for this place for a long time. What we are developing is not a typical resort, it’s a new approach for the international luxury travel market that offers apartments, a range of farmhouses, a luxury club concept and four and five stars hotels. Our guests are well travelled and looking for an authentic experience. With us, that is exactly what they will find.
TUI AG also is determined to retain the rural character of the region, so only 0,03 percent of the land is being developed. When complete, Toscana Resort Castelfalfi will provide visitors with the chance to experience an authentic slice of Tuscany while enjoying the services of a resort.
There are many neglected villages in Italy that are now almost ruins. These represent the heritage of our nation, something we must preserve and show to future generations.
Both the Casale I Bianchi and La Valle castles went through a careful renovation thanks to the precious work of caring craftsmen that cleaned and brushed all the stone façades and beamed ceilings; removed, repaired and put back in place every single roof tile like a big puzzle; and updated these century-old buildings into modern residences
The Castelfalfi Golf attracts all international Golfers because of it's challenging architecture and simultaneous beautiness.
Integrated in the unique tuscan landscape the course is completely eco sustainable, irrigated by collected rain water and the greens have international championship standard.
“I think the golf course is spectacular with its magnificent views and incredible paths
Castelfalfi is now back to its former splendor, and has been updated to offer visitors and inhabitants all you would expect from a luxury resort — from panoramic swimming pools to breathtaking golf courses to fine dining and unforgettable excursions
The aim of the project was to maintain the overall harmony by turning the Castle into a suitable venue for the restaurant without taking anything away from its historical nature.
Luxury is not represented by jewels or beautiful cars. It is represented by living healthy, breathing fresh air and loving renovated medieval villages, that can be found only in Italy, and that only Italy can offer to the world. Tourism is a treasure and Italy has yet to fully understand that.
I came here one year ago looking for a location for my new film. Day after day I have seen Castelfalfi bloom like a magic place fully enchanted in a modern renaissance spirit. I have supported the challenge of the people who work in Castelfalfi, who are an example of competence for the whole of Italy. The real movie has been witnessing this renovated miracle.
What fascinates me is really the renaissance of this ghost town that is now a small gem in the heart of one of the most fascinating regions of Italy
Toscana Resort Castelfalfi is animated with rich history, and the project aims to preserve the region’s rural character
Why does a big international group like Tui decide to bet on this ambitious project by investing remarkable resources, with a completely unconventional approach? First, I would say that the main reason is the unique charm of Castelfalfi, with its ancient roots and its unmistakable Tuscan atmosphere. Being said that, the challenge here is to give this land its true identity back, by providing the modern comforts our visitors need without compromising the balance of nature and history of this place. And so far, we are winning this challenge.
The community that is emerging in Castelfalfi is an international mix of cultures and habits,” says Neuhaus. “What fascinates me is really the renaissance of this ghost town that is now a small gem in the heart of one of the most fascinating regions of Italy
A modern reflection of the hotel’s rich past, its furnishings promise comfort and enhance its modest, yet stylish décor,
