The certifications that ABMSP offers have been deemed creditable and valuable by these two recognized institutions. Most medical boards are accredited simply by their own proclamation of value. They don’t have a third party overseeing what they do and attesting that they are operating in a manner consistent with national and international standards. It’s always been a core value of ABMSP to invite third parties to attest to the quality manner in which ABMSP certification is developed, administered, and maintained.
