Opcon to increase energy efficiency in Falkenberg
Opcon AB, the energy and environmental technology Group has been awarded an order for delivery of SRE’s flue gas condenser to the biomass fueled district heating plant in Falkenberg, Sweden. SRE’s leading flue gas condenser efficiently captures waste heat in smokestack gases and recycles the energy to the district heating grid. The flue gas condenser, that adds some 1,7 MW to the system in Falkenberg, increases energy efficiency with up to 20-25% depending on fuel thereby helping Falkenberg Energi to reduce their fuel consumption and lower emissions considerably.
Customer is Falkenberg Energi AB who will install the flue gas condenser at their 8 MW boiler in Falkenberg. Order value amounts to around 5 m SEK. Delivery will be in the beginning of 2014.

The offer also includes flue gas condensation equipment for industrial activities.
