Opcon performs directed issue of 4,385,965 shares at SEK 0.57 per share

As authorized by the annual general meeting of shareholders, Opcon’s Board has decided to carry out a directed share issue of 4,385,965 new shares at a price of SEK 0.57 per share. The shares are issued for GEM Global Yield Fund Ltd. After the registration of the new shares in this issue and the issue of 30 m shares to Snowman conducted at the same time, the total number of issued shares in Opcon Aktiebolag (publ) will amount to 378,800,110.In 2011 Opcon AB signed an agreement with GEM Investment Advisers, Inc. and GEM Global Yield Fund Ltd. concerning an equity line financing facility

Opcon to increase energy efficiency in Falkenberg

Opcon AB, the energy and environmental technology Group has been awarded an order for delivery of SRE’s flue gas condenser to the biomass fueled district heating plant in Falkenberg, Sweden. SRE’s leading flue gas condenser efficiently captures waste heat in smokestack gases and recycles the energy to the district heating grid. The flue gas condenser, that adds some 1,7 MW to the system in Falkenberg, increases energy efficiency with up to 20-25% depending on fuel thereby helping Falkenberg Energi to reduce their fuel consumption and lower emissions considerably. Saxlund to deliver district heating plant to Ljusdal

Saxlund Bioenergy AB, a subsidiary of Opcon AB, the energy and environmental technology Group has been awarded an order for delivery of the combustion part that constitute the heart of Ljusdal Energi’s new biomass fueled district heating plant. Order value amounts to around 11 m SEK. The scope includes the delivery of boiler and furnace for the combustion of biomass, primarily moist biofuel like forest residues, woodchips and sawdust. Saxlund to deliver to Waste-to-Energy project in Zürich

Saxlund International GmbH, a fully-owned subsidiary of Opcon AB, the energy and environmental technology Group, has won an order from Outotec GmbH for the delivery of sludge handling equipment to the Waste-to-Energy solution at ERZ Entsorgung + Recycling Zürich’s new sludge incineration plant in Zürich. The sludge will be dried, burned and used as biofuel for the production of renewable heat and power. Saxlund GmbH wins order for Holcim, Germany

Saxlund International GmbH, a subsidiary of Opcon, the energy and environmental technology Group, has been awarded a material handling contract for secondary fuel at Holcim (Deutschland) AG’s plant in Höver, Germany. The Swiss group Holcim is a world leading supplier of cement and aggregates with some 80 000 employees and production plants in about 70 countries. Saxlund International GmbH, a fully-owned subsidiary of Opcon AB, the energy and environmental technology Group, has won an order worth 8 million SEK for the expansion of the Waste-to-Energy solution at the City of Karlsruhe’s waste water treatment plant.
