    Vattenfall takes the next step for new nuclear power at Ringhals in Sweden

    Vattenfall's Board of Directors has decided to invest in independent core cooling in Forsmark's three nuclear reactors.     Vattenfall has decided to change the direction of the planned operational lifetimes for Ringhals 1 and 2.     Eva Halldén has been appointed new Managing Director of Ringhals AB. She takes up the position on 1 January 2012.
