The devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines is unimaginable to most of us. Tens of thousands of people are without food, water, homes and electricity. Since we learned of the typhoon on the news, we have organized 15 packing events and have packed over 145,000 meals so far. We will be shipping to the Philippines the first week of December.
Sherri Leal, Kids Against Hunger Bay Area Director
It was a touching event for our employees, their spouses and children to come together for the benefit of those in the Philippines. We were proud to participate in the great work that Kids Against Hunger does for those in need. We all felt a direct connection that the food we were packaging would be saving someone’s life.
