Visma prepares for growth with strengthened leadership
Merete Hverven is appointed as the new Deputy CEO of Visma. After years of solid growth, Europe’s leading cloud software provider now strengthens its management to prepare for further expansion in Europe.
Merete Hverven joined Visma in 2011 and currently holds the position as Chief HR Officer. She has a Master of Finance from the University of St. Gallen and NHH, and has experience from leading positions as HR Director and Financial Consultant at Ernst & Young.
In addition to her role as HR Director, Hverven has worked actively with strategy, acquisitions, integrations and change management in Visma.
In her new position as Deputy CEO, Merete Hverven will share the leadership responsibilities of the Visma Group with CEO Øystein Moan. Hverven will maintain the overall HR and Legal responsibilities in the organisation, but will also focus on M&A, strategy and developing business processes in her new role. She will act as a strategic advisor for Visma’s four Division Directors and assist in complex acquisitions and integrations.
Hverven will meet at the board of Visma AS and work closely with owners and investors of Visma.
