Invitation for press: Outlook for the European construction market after the financial crisis

The global financial crisis had a severe impact on the European construction market. After the peak in 2007, the downslide has been significant. This year the amount of construction in Europe is diminishing further – for the fourth consecutive year. The future of the European construction industry will be the main topic during the conference of the EUROCONSTRUCT network in Helsinki between 16-17 June. This event organised by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland deals with the short term outlook of the construction industry until 2013 and the mid-term until 2020. EUROCONSTRUCT
