Bastard Burgers to open in the Victoria block in Gothenburg
In March, Bastard Burgers will open in Wallenstam’s premises at Södra Larmgatan 11 in Gothenburg. Bastard Burgers started in 2016 as a “hole in the wall” outlet in Luleå, now the hole has grown into a streetfood chain, which will soon have 32 units. From Boden in the north to Varberg in the south and now the first establishment in Gothenburg in the Victoria block.
“We are really looking forward to Bastard Burgers’ opening. It has been important for us to complement the Victoria block with more options for food, drinks and meeting places and together with our friends at Victoriagården, we believe that Bastard Burgers will provide an excellent addition to the area. These premises with their cool design and wonderful corner location will be very attractive to spend time in with friends day and night,” says Anders Forsling, Chief Account Manager at Wallenstam.
In the future at Södra Larmgatan 11, two new “signature burgers” will be served every month, one with meat and one vegan, according to Bastard Burgers’ own unique concept.
“We have been looking for the right premises in Gothenburg and are now longing for the opening here in March so that Gothenburgers can experience our Norrland concept. We are continually working to be consisent with our quality and to maintain a high minimum level. Apart from our Norrland meat, our commitment to vegan streetfood and carbon offsetting has made us unique in our genre,” says Simon Wanler, CEO and founder of Bastard Burgers.
The goal of Bastard Burgers is to provide a really great and sustainable product, inspired by New York’s streetfood – with quality from Norrland.
“The restaurant in Gothenburg has a fanstastic location in a beautiful area and is also situated next to our good friends Caliroots, so we look forward to some nice collaboration there going forward,” says Simon Wanler.
