Completed transactions, construction starts and occupations during the third quarter, 2022

During the quarter, Wallenstam started the construction of 169 rental apartments in the Nacka Grace project. In addition, a reconstruction and extension project was initiated in a commercial property on Stampgatan in central Gothenburg.

The Nacka Grace block will be built in a neoclassical style along Nya Gatan in central Nacka, and will consist of twelve stairwells with a total of 169 rental apartments and twelve premises on the ground floors.

The commercial property on Stampgatan in Gothenburg will be reconstructed and modernized, and also extended by 1.5 floors comprising approximately 2,000 sq m. As previously communicated, the coworking operator Convendum will become a new tenant and will lease just over 4,200 sq m in the building, which is expected to be ready in fall 2023.

No apartments were completed during the quarter. All in all, Wallenstam had 1,836 apartments under construction as of September 30, 2022. 

Wallenstam has also completed land transactions with Nacka Municipality, in connection with Wallenstam’s urban development project in Älta. The purchase price amounted to about SEK 3 million with respect to sales and about SEK 18.5 million with respect to acquisitions. Vacation and taking of possession occurred in July.
