Convendum lets more than 5,000 creative square meters in Umami Park
Convendum is establishing in Umami Park, Hallonbergen, a dynamic new area, which is starting to take shape in Sundbyberg, featuring 800 apartments, modern office space, shops, cafés and local services. Convendum will let more than 5,000 square meters in total. Three floors in three buildings will be filled with activity-based coworking areas, office space, a lounge, café and showrooms. The agreement will run for twelve years.
“Convendum's modern and urban solutions in a well-packaged concept are a very welcome establishment in Umami Park. Their presence will promote new opportunities for cooperation, development and dynamics in a new exciting district, which when fully developed will include 800 apartments and commercial space for offices, shops, restaurants, a nursery school and local services,” says Hans Wallenstam, CEO of Wallenstam.
Convendum works to develop the office market with an accessibility that stimulates solidarity, creativity and networks. In summer 2017, Convendum opened its doors in Gothenburg in Wallenstam’s property at Avenyn 21. Now 5,000 creative square meters are being established in Umami Park, at Rissneleden 6 − the exact occupation date has not been decided at present.
“Our concept provides companies with new possibilities for flexible offices with the latest technology in attractive locations. Demand is strong and an establishment in Umami Park, a dynamic new area with a perfect location and an exciting future ahead of it, feels completely right for us. Here, we want to create a meeting place for innovations and development, where large and small companies meet,” says Håkan Jeppsson, CEO of Convendum.
Umami Park is an area for everyone that appreciates proximity to activities and experiences through food and culture as well as excellent communications to Stockholm City and Arenastaden.
“We will have the pleasure of welcoming the first residential tenants here by the summer and along with Convendum’s coming establishment, it feels really great for the future development of Umami Park,” says Mathias Aronsson, Vice CEO of Wallenstam.
