During the quarter, Wallenstam completed a school and a nursery school in the urban development project Kallebäcks Terrasser in Gothenburg, where Wallenstam to date has constructed almost 1,000 apartments, and a further 500 apartments are under construction. Wallenstam had 1,163 apartments in total under construction as of September 30, 2023. 

The school and nursery school in Kallebäcks Terrasser cover a total area of about 7,000 sq m. At the start of term in August, children and young people could start at the new school, which has space for 580 pupils, and in August the nursery school could also welcome children to completely new premises.

So far, tenants have moved into 1,000 apartments, which Wallenstam has constructed in the new district. Office premises, a convenience store and a healthcare centre are also in place, and several other businesses such as restaurants and bakeries will open in the fall. A further 500 apartments are under construction and when the area is completely finished, it will comprise about 2,000 apartments.

During the quarter, Wallenstam has completed 67 rental apartments in the following projects:

  • 18 apartments in a reconstruction project on Lantmätaregatan in Gothenburg. The project is fully completed. The property Kvillebäcken 5:6 was part of the transaction that Wallenstam carried out with  Ikano Bostad in 2022, and it was vacated on September 29, 2023, according to agreement.
  • 33 apartments in Bersån, Uppsala. The project involving 98 apartments in total is now fully completed.
  • 16 apartments in Kompositören, Uppsala. The project involves a total of 185 apartments, of which 34 are now completed.

In addition to this, eight co-op terraced houses in the Pixbo Sjöterrass project in Härryda Municipality were completed, and sales have commenced.

A sports hall in Mölnlycke Fabriker has been sold to Härryda Municipality for SEK 37 million. Transfer of the property is taking place through property reallotment and vacation occurred on September 4, 2023.
