Friskis & Svettis to open on Bruksgatan in Mölnlycke Fabrike

Early next fall, Friskis & Svettis will move to new premises in Mölnlycke Fabriker. Then all members will be welcomed to a newly renovated premises of 1,400 square meters right in the heart of the district. With an entrance from Bruksgatan, a pleasant thoroughfare that runs through Mölnlycke Fabriker, the location will be more publicly and easily accessible for both local residents and visitors. 

“We are happy that Friskis & Svettis is choosing to continue expanding along with us in Mölnlycke Fabriker. They have been in the area for a long time and add a nice value to the overall district. Together with the arena and all the sports activities in the new halls, Mölnlycke Fabriker has developed into a wonderful sports cluster,” says Marina Fritsche, Vice CEO and Regional Director of Wallenstam in Gothenburg. 

Friskis & Svettis’ new training facility in Mölnlycke is expected to be completed after summer next year. Then the members will be able to take advantage of new training areas, group training, spinning classes and a gym with generous opening hours.  

“We are really looking forward to the move and our new premises in Mölnlycke Fabriker. The entrance will be easily accessible with an entry from the multi-storey car park and Bruksgatan. Meanwhile, we will get more efficient, brighter and airier training areas in a wonderful, genuine environment. We are looking forward to receiving new members who have still not discovered us and to welcome back those who left us in the past to a new training-inspired environment, a fully-equipped gym and areas for functional training, fitness equipment, free weights and a cardio section,” says Thomas Fredriksson, Operations Manager at Friskis & Svettis.

Bruksgatan in Mölnlycke Fabriker serves as a natural link between the area’s cultural heritage and future. It is a thoroughfare that combines the district’s unique factory buildings and existing activities with new apartments, which have been developed with inspiration drawn from the area’s historical landscape.
