Rebecka Wallenstam co-opted member of the Board

At the statutory Board meeting after today’s Annual General Meeting of Wallenstam AB (publ), the Board decided to co-opt Rebecka Wallenstam as a Board member.

As a co-opted member of the Board of Wallenstam AB (publ), Rebecka Wallenstam will participate in Board meetings and in the Board’s work, but will not have voting rights. She will continue to work concurrently in her role as Group Controller at Wallenstam.

“Rebecka possesses skills that will be of great benefit in the Board work in Wallenstam. During our time together in Convendum Corporation’s board, I have seen Rebecka’s qualities as a board member. It is also nice to be able to welcome a new Wallenstam generation as a co-opted member of the Board,” says Lars-Åke Bokenberger, Chairman of the Board of Wallenstam AB (publ).

“It will be interesting, exciting and fun to follow and participate in the Board’s work. With my knowledge and experience from Wallenstam’s business, I want to contribute to the company’s continued development and value creation,” says Rebecka Wallenstam.

Rebecka Wallenstam, born 1991 and daughter of CEO Hans Wallenstam, has been Group Controller since 2016. Between April 2019 and April 2022, Rebecka was a board member of Convendum Corporation AB. She has previously worked at Wallenstam’s customer service department in parallel with her Business and Economics studies at the School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg. From 2013 Rebecka worked in the sales department at the former subsidiary Svensk NaturEnergi and during 20152016 she worked with issues related to investor relations and control at Wallenstam.
