The Minister for Finance initiates start of construction of 336 rental apartments in Krokslätt
Today the Minister for Finance Magdalena Andersson together with Hans Wallenstam officially started the new production of 336 new rental apartments at Mölndalsvägen 79.
The block, which will be called Elisedal, will consist of a total of six buildings, of which five buildings will enclose a large common courtyard. First occupation is preliminarily planned for 2021.
“We are very much looking forward to be able to contribute to more rental apartments in Gothenburg. There is an immense need for more housing in our metropolitan areas and each time we put the spade in the ground and can help to provide more homes it is special,” says Hans Wallenstam, CEO of Wallenstam.
The 336 apartments that will be built along Mölndalsvägen will range in size from studio to three bedrooms and will be spread among six buildings containing seven to nine floors. All the apartments will have a balcony, patio or entrance balcony and a parking garage will be located under the block. The architect’s office is Voten/CREAM Architects.
