Wallenstam has today signed an agreement with Göteborgs Stads Parkerings AB on the acquisition of the property Göteborg Haga 31:5, known as Axesshuset, through a company transaction, for an agreed property value of SEK 169.3 million. The property will be preliminarily taken into possession in the autumn, provided that Gothenburg City Council takes a positive decision in the matter before then and that a subdivision of the existing parking facilities in the property is carried out by the seller.

“This is a strategic acquisition of a fine commercial property in the central part of Gothenburg. We believe in Gothenburg inner city and its development. I am happy to be able to add to our commercial holdings here in a very good location adjacent to Haga and with a very good communications position,” says Hans Wallenstam, CEO of Wallenstam.

Axesshuset is located along Södra Allégatan adjacent to the Haga district in Gothenburg. The property was built in 1990 and today is an attractive community property with a healthcare and education cluster and a lettable area of 5,074 square metres. Tenants include Västra Götalands Läns Landsting, Capio närsjukvård and Medborgarskolan.
