2021 Year-end report: Record net lettings for Wihlborgs

  • Rental income amounted to SEK 3,060 million (3,074)
  • Operating surplus amounted to SEK 2,195 million (2,222).
  • Income from property management amounted to SEK 1,815 million (1,830).
  • Profit for the period amounted to SEK 3,348 million (2,222), corresponding to earnings per share of SEK 21.78 (14.46).

- During the year, we noted a distinct increase in the activity of our customers. Net lettings for the full year, SEK 115 million, is the highest full-year figure we have ever recorded. For the quarter, net lettings totalled SEK 67 million, which is also a record. The results in terms of cash flow and value increases have also provided us with a record strong balance sheet,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs. 

- With healthy demand and a strong balance sheet, we can continue to develop our project portfolio that currently corresponds to investments of SEK 2.8 billion. Moreover, we continuously evaluate acquisition opportunities, and in the fourth quarter, this resulted in the acquisition of two properties in Copenhagen and one in Helsingborg.

- Our expansion will be conducted profitably and sustainably. This year, we certified 13 properties in accordance with Miljöbyggnad iDrift, and our solar panel facilities now correspond to a capacity of 2,3 MW. We are also continuing the systematic efforts to replace refrigerants that are harmful to the environment with more environmentally friendly alternatives. These measures have reduced the risk of GHG leakage equivalent to some 1,200 tonnes of CO2e over the last two years.
