On 1 November, the growing Helsingborg company Svensk Foodservice is moving to Rubinen 1 in Väla södra in Helsingborg. At the same time, the produce company GGB Fruit is moving to the same property, which means that total lettings at the property amount to approximately 2,400 square metres.

Svensk Foodservice is a HoReCa (hotel, restaurant and catering) wholesaler and offers fruits, vegetables and dairy products. The lease is for 1,630 square metres and extends for six years.

GGB Fruit imports fruit and vegetables, and delivers to customers across all of Scandinavia, with a focus on the Swedish market. The lease is for 740 square metres and extends for six years.

The roof of Rubinen 1 is equipped with solar panels, an advantage for the companies who have both refrigerated and freezer space.

“Svensk Foodservice is in an expansive stage where we are growing and developing our range together with our customers. We look forward to moving to the new premises,” says Thiru Navaratnam, marketing director at Svensk Foodservice.

“Väla södra is a sought-after neighbourhood in Helsingborg, with good transportation links and a wide offering of services close by. The property has a high standard and offers good opportunities to combine offices, retail premises, warehousing and production depending on needs. It’s exciting to be able to welcome two new, dynamic companies here,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.
