Wihlborgs acquires office and warehouse property in Copenhagen

Wihlborgs has signed an agreement for the acquisition of the Industriparken 21 property in Ballerup, Copenhagen, with a lettable area of 10,200 m².

The property was acquired through a sale-and-leaseback transaction whereby C. Reinhardt A/S sells the property and concurrently signs a seven-year lease for 5,800 m². Other tenants include Renault, Xerox, Maxi Zoo and Henkel.

Industriparken 21 is a modern property with the highest energy certification and has a good location in terms of exposure and communication. The property comprises about 13,900 m² of lettable area, with approximately 10,200 m² lettable area. The property also has a shared canteen and meeting premises.

“Ballerup is one of the areas of Copenhagen where we have been established longest. We already have ten properties here and the acquisition enables us to further increase our focus at the same time as we create new opportunities for growth and development for ourselves and our customers,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.

The purchase price was DKK 120 million with possession on 1 April 2021. Fully occupied, the rental value totals DKK 11.2 million. On completion of the acquisition, Wihlborgs will own 636,000 m² in Denmark, of which 126,000 m² is located in Ballerup.
