Wihlborgs acquires property in Herlev
Wihlborgs has acquired the Vasekær 10-12 property in Herlev, Denmark. When the seller, Terma A/S, vacates the property on 30 June next year, Wihlborgs will begin redeveloping the property, turning it into a modern and flexible office building.
The office building was acquired for a consideration of DKK 38 million. The site encompasses just over 8,800 square metres and the lettable area of approximately 7,600 square metres is allocated across three buildings. Warehouses comprise 1,400 square metres and the rest is office space.
Wihlborgs will immediately commence planning and redevelopment ahead of occupancy on 1 July. The goal of the redevelopment is to offer a modern, flexible office building for multiple tenants. The total estimated rental value after redevelopment is DKK 6.5 million.
The property is in an area where Wihlborgs is already represented and will be included in Wihlborgs’ existing maintenance and management organisation. There is a great deal of interest in the nearby Mileparken 22 property and several premises have waiting lists.
“Vasekær is an exciting development project for us, with the opportunity to set the Wihlborgs seal on the building. Wihlborgs already has a strong position in Herlev, where we’re helping develop a modern, attractive business district,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
