Wihlborgs divests four industrial properties in Malmö
On 1 June, Wihlborgs divested four industrial properties in Malmö to Corem. The properties were sold in corporate wrappers at an underlying property value of around SEK 144 million.
As a result of the deal, Wihlborgs is exiting the minor sub-market Elisedal in east Malmö. The Löplinan 7, Stångbettet 15 and Förbygeln 1 properties were divested here. These comprise a lettable area of about 11,000 m². Stridsyxan 4, comprising about 9,000 m² in Fosie, was also divested. The properties are essentially fully let and developed, and the tenants include Bilia, Areco Direct and NMC Cellfoam.
“Elisedal is a minor sub-market in Malmö where we were a minor player. It is only natural that Corem strengthens its position in the area and that we focus our resources in markets where we are stronger and have an opportunity to continue to develop together with our tenants,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.
