Wihlborgs has signed an eight-year lease with Region Skåne who is co-locating Hjälpmedelsverksamheten to the Sufflören 4 property in Hyllie. The property, which was acquired just over a year ago with a high level of vacancy, is now fully let.

Hjälpmedelsverksamheten (Eng: Habilitation and Assistive Technology Services) in Region Skåne currently has several divisions, including at Staffanstorp and at Medeon in Malmö, but they will now be co-located to Axel Danielssons väg in Hyllie. The premises will be renovated and adapted for storage, workshops, device reprocessing and customisation, and include space for offices and staff. The property’s location means that operations are accessible by public transportation and subsidised transportation as well as other modes of transports. Occupancy will take place in spring 2025.

When the property was acquired in December 2022, the vacancy rate was 63 percent. As of the letting to Region Skåne, the property is now fully let.

“This property has become a positive addition to an area in which we are already established and where we see favourable development opportunities. It is gratifying that we can now provide Hjälpmedelsverksamheten with suitable premises with good accessibility, including to public transportation,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
