Wihlborgs lets 6,800 m² to VA SYD
Wihlborgs has signed a twelve-year agreement with the water and sewerage organisation VA SYD for 2,200 m² of offices and 4,600 m² of warehouse space at Spännbucklan 9 in Fosie, Malmö. The mains network division of VA SYD will carry out operations for five municipalities in Skåne from these new premises.
VA SYD is a regional water and sewerage organisation that operates in southwestern Skåne and also manages waste in the municipalities of Burlöv and Malmö. Their head offices are at another Wihlborgs’ property at Bagers plats in central Malmö. The mains network department, with some 80 employees and several large vehicles, has outgrown its previous office and has been looking for new premises for quite some time.
“The last few years the department has expanded from the water and sewerage department in Malmö and Lund to the five current member municipalities. That is why we’re pleased to announce that we’re moving to premises that are more appropriate for our operations,” says Richard Dahlberg, Property Director at VA SYD.
The Spännbucklan 9 property is located at Agnesfridsvägen 182 the Fosie industrial village in east Malmö. Occupancy is scheduled for 1 March 2023.
