Wihlborgs signs agreements with five new restaurants in Helsingborg
Wihlborgs has signed agreements with four new restaurants that will open on the new Kitchen Floor dining floor in Helsingborg Central Station. We have also signed a contract with a restaurateur to move in to the newly built Prisma office building in Oceanhamnen.
The rapidly growing restaurant chain Brödernas will open their first restaurant in Skåne at one of the larger spaces in Kitchen Floor. Brödernas’ menu includes high-quality burgers and salads.
“We are very pleased to finally establish ourselves in Helsingborg. At Brödernas, customers will be able to grab a quick burger to eat there or to go, while those that have more time will be able to sit down with a burger or a salad with a beer or a glass of wine,” says Joakim Wiklander, CEO of Brödernas.
Eld & Vin already operate a successful restaurant in Ängelholm. Now they will also be serving chargrilled meat, vegetables, fruit, fish and shellfish – all prepared over an open fire – at Helsingborg Central Station. In addition, SiamStreetFood is opening, serving authentic street food with tastes from across Asia, and an Italian restaurant serving high-quality Italian food prepared from scratch using fresh Italian produce and imparting the feeling of the true Italy. Kitchen Floor is preliminarily set to open in September.
“Our vision is that Kitchen Floor will be Helsingborg’s new living room where a fantastic evening with friends or family can be enjoyed. For travellers looking for something quick and tasty, we have now gathered fast food options on the ground floor,” says Magnus Lambertsson, Regional Director of Wihlborgs.
Tenants are currently moving in to the Prisma office building (Ursula 1) in Oceanhamnen, a stone’s throw from Helsingborg Central Station. On the ground floor, the tech hub Hetch is operating a community, welcome service, co-working space and meeting point. A restaurant will also open here after the summer.
“In Prisma, we will create a popular meeting place with delicious drinks and modern, quality food prepared from fresh produce from local suppliers. On weekdays we will serve lunch, and in the evenings and on weekends we will have à la carte with the known classics, bistro, ‘sharing is caring’ and seasonal favourites,” says restaurateur Stefan Mildén, who is one of the partners of the new restaurant and also runs Restaurang SMAK.
