Wihlborgs has signed a ten-year lease for 2,500 m² with RISE at Ideon Science Park in Lund.

RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) is Sweden’s research institute and innovation partner. In December, RISE is moving its offices from Ideon Gateway to Beta 5 at Ideon Science Park in Lund. Ideon is one of Europe’s most interesting locations, where great minds are forming the future. After 35 years, there are now some 400 companies and 9,000 employees at Ideon.

“RISE is already one of our tenants and we look forward to continuing our long-standing collaboration as RISE is now expanding and needs more space. Having such an important player in research and development among Ideon’s growth and innovation companies strengthens both the area and the region as a whole,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.

“RISE is the research institute for all of Sweden and our presence in Lund provides the region’s private and the public sectors with access to RISE’s offering in applied research and development, innovation support, and in testing and demonstration settings,” says John Rune Nielsen, Research and Business Development Director at RISE.
