XMReality now offers a freemium version of Remote Guidance which will make it possible for anyone to try out Remote Guidance. This freemium edition, at no cost for the user, will be named ‘Connect’. Connect will complement XMReality’s existing Business and Enterprise offerings and has limited functionality and a limited number of call links that can be shared with a counterpart to start a remote guidance call. The main purpose of Connect is to create awareness and market XMReality Remote Guidance.

The new offering provides businesses interested in learning about the benefits of remote guidance an easy and free way to see how remote guidance can improve service functions. Already, XMReality Remote Guidance is employed by companies in a broad set of industries such as manufacturing, energy, facility management, food and beverage, defense, packaging and many more in over 55 countries.

Connect offers a limited number of call links per month for an unlimited amount of time and works on both Android and iOS devices. It includes useful features such as interactive pointing, annotations, pinch to zoom, guide on image, snapshots and hands overlay. Support is available through an online knowledge base.

In addition to Connect, XMReality offers more comprehensive tiered services for businesses with different requirements:

  • ‘Business’ which provides unlimited call links and app to app calls and includes user support over email.
  • ‘Enterprise’ which offers a far more comprehensive and feature-rich offering that adds more functionality, such as analytics, group calls, integrations and a high level of personal support.
