Women in Farming in the Spotlight at Network’s Conference

Teamwork is the subject of the Yorkshire Rural Support Network’s third Women in Farming Conference which takes place next month.Entitled “Talking Teamwork – Better and Stronger Together”, the conference will explore successful collaborative working within rural businesses with speakers sharing their unique experiences. The Network  is part the Yorkshire Agricultural Society ’s work supporting the industry. The conference takes place on Tuesday 11th October 2016

New Era for Rural Support Network

A new era has begun for the Yorkshire Rural Support Network with Philippa Coultish succeeding Helen Waddington as Chairman. The joys and challenges of farming from the female perspective are the subject of a lunch event being organised by the Yorkshire Rural Support Network.Lorna Tyson, a farmer’s wife and businesswoman from The Wirral, is the guest speaker at the event on Thursday 21 March at Sandburn Hall, near Flaxton, York.
