Veidekke to build green apartments in solid wood at Grünerløkka

Veidekke Entreprenør AS has signed a contract with Nordre Gate Utvikling AS (Infill AS/ Aspelin Ramm Eiendom) to build 40 energy and environmentally friendly apartments in solid wood in Nordre Gate 20-22 at Grünerløkka in Oslo. This is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 125 million, excluding VAT. The contract includes demolition of the existing buildings and erecting a new six-storey apartment building in solid wood with two floors of commercial premises facing Nordre gate. The project comprises two buildings linked by a gallery and with a common basement beneath the entire structure.

Wallenstam, Åke Sundvall and Castellum have established a consortium and won a land allocation competition for building rights of just over 100,000 sq m of gross floor area with apartments, retail space, offices and hotels at the former Söderstadion and Hovet site. The new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in May 2018.
