Kährs has submitted science-based Forest, Land & Agriculture (FLAG) target
Another milestone has been reached in Kährs climate work as the company has now submitted its carbon dioxide emission reductions target to SBTi for validation. The target is proposed for Kährs’ near-term company-wide emission reductions in line with climate science with the SBTi including FLAG removals and emissions (Forest, Land & Agriculture). To keep 1.5°C within reach, tackle food crisis and biodiversity risks and enable the transformation to a global net-zero future, cutting land related emissions is of high importance together with the reductions connected to the operations
