SmartSteel gets support from Vinnova - The journey toward the "Internet of materials" continues
Vinnova, Sweden's innovation agency, is to provide funding of SEK 10 million for smart steel. Vinnova’s support will enable the further development of the the ecosystem for SSAB SmartSteel, a research and development project for digitizing steel, with new partners, such as Sandvik Materials Technology. Funding will also enable selected parts to be tested in pilot form. “We are extremely pleased about Vinnova's support, which will allow us to continue to develop the ecosystem for SSAB SmartSteel together with new research partners and companies,” says Eva Petursson, Head of R&D at
