Biovica participates in a European research project for developing a new cancer-drug

In December 2015 Rabbalshede Kraft was granted an environmental permit for the Åndberg wind farm in the municipality of Härjedalen. The permit, comprising up to 57 wind turbines (approximately 200 MW), has now gained legal force.The Åndberg area is largely designated by the Swedish Energy Agency as a national interest area for wind power and has very good wind resources. The application documents were submitted to the County Administrative Board in 2010. Satellites map carbon sequestered by forests, with accuracy of up to ten metres

Led by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, the EU North State project has developed a new method of using satellite images to evaluate the forest carbon balance. BillerudKorsnäs first quarter impacted by spillover from previous production problems during 2016

BillerudKorsnäs first quarter results are negatively impacted by quality costs emanating from production during the second half of 2016 and start-up costs for the Rockhammar re-build late 2016.
