The secret letters offer something quite unusual, and with an eye catching design and a new letter each month, we are building a series of letters for every month of the year, with some great stories. The idea is to give our customers an insight into how candles have been used throughout the ages and on every conceivable occasion as a gift or gesture to show affection or meaning to someone special.
Luxury packaged goods saw consistent growth in 2013 and our hamper range is designed to fill the gap in the market for a range of high quality candles and soaps in a luxury hamper. The Mother’s Day gift market is a real opportunity for retailers to offer something special and exclusive and our hampers contain a selection of soaps and our Gift of the Year shortlisted candle range Three Lites, so provides a perfect gift.
We identified the gap in the market fairly soon after launching Thistle Soaps. The desire from customers to have a specific skincare range was obvious, and the opportunity to show that these types of products so often advertised as being technological leaps, using only natural ingredients and traditional techniques, has given us something really different.
As the seasons change, Four Wicks provides a highly decorative and great value candle for any home. Our network of independent retailers have really seen the benefits from stocking these premium products as demand for luxury items at affordable prices has been good for everyone.
We were extremely pleased with the Super 7’s series and knew that the market wanted a compact version of this product, retaining all the quality and natural scents, attractive design and excellent packaging. We have big hopes that Three Lites will follow in the footsteps of Super 7’s and fill the gap in the market for a luxury scented candle gift pack for the mid market.
We wanted to pull together some of the best products from our range, add some glamour and offer a great value gift for anyone. These scented candles offer a great present for everyone from your first love to your life long partner or even someone you just want to show a little love at this time of the year. Our scented candles are exceptional quality, produced in our Northumberland workshop and with a burn life of up to 50 hours, offer a romantic gift that will just keep giving.
The last twelve months have been incredible, and our Super 7’s range which only launched in Spring 2012 became our second biggest selling product line within 6 months. We know that it appealed to independent retailers, because it offered a luxury gift at a very appealing price. We work on developing a high quality candles with great scents and a long burn, so that customers receive great value for money. Packaging of the product has also been key to the success and we have proved that great product presentation in a limited footprint is possible. Our UK market is extremely strong despite the economy, and shows that there is still plenty of opportunity for growth if you have a great original product. We are really looking forward to Spring Fair 2013, and the official launch of ‘Three Lites’
