BIBBY DISTRIBUTION’S TANKER TEAM DELIVERS BRITAIN’S FESTIVE FEAST

21 December 2016Bibby Distribution’s award-winning tanker division has once again played a key role in the nation’s Christmas celebrations by carrying out bumper deliveries to sweet & biscuit factories, chocolate makers and dairies across the UK and Europe. Since October, the fleet of more than 200 tankers has delivered 10,000 tonnes of liquid chocolate and 2,500 tonnes of preserves – enough to make 50 million advent calendars and 40 million mince pies. Additionally, the team has transported 17,500 tonnes of juice – the equivalent of everyone in the country having a glass on Christmas
