Great news for off-grid homeowners.Heating oil prices in the UK have dipped to a 19 month low and consumers are being advised to take advantage of this current price relief and fill up their tanks now, in preparation for the winter months ahead.
Currently heating oil prices are as low as £0.49 per litre (ex VAT) compared with £0.61 per litre (ex VAT) seen in the winter of December 2011. On a 1000 litre order this represents a saving of a whopping £120, which could be the equivalent to a week’s shopping for a family of 4.
