Facebook fans can put their love to the test for crave-worthy coupons

PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. – April 16, 2012 – To celebrate the craveability of its signature combination, the Bacon Deluxe ButterBurger and handcrafted Chocolate Shake, Culver’s is challenging Facebook fans to put their love for bacon and chocolate to the test.

Through April 27, guests can answer six easy questions to discover their bacon-chocolate type. They’ll also earn craving-tailored coupons so they can savor their favorites. Visit http://www.facebook.com/culvers to play.

“Shakes & Bacon Crave-O-Meter is an entertaining way to celebrate guests’ love and yearning for bacon and chocolate,” said David Stidham, Culver’s vice president of marketing. “Together they make an unbeatable combination.”

Crispy, hardwood-smoked center-cut bacon is the centerpiece of Culver’s Bacon Deluxe, topping fresh, never frozen, Midwest-raised beef along with Wisconsin cheese, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, pickles, sweet red onion and a signature mayo. Then this cooked-to-order guest favorite is capped with a lightly buttered, toasted bun.

The other half of the signature combination, Culver’s Fresh Frozen Custard Chocolate Shake, starts with Culver’s Vanilla Fresh Frozen Custard, which is prepared in small batches throughout the day, using milk supplied by more than 100 Wisconsin family farms. Then rich dark chocolate is added and handcrafted for each guest.

Culver’s is highlighting these guest favorites in a new “Welcome to Delicious” TV spot. Viewers will be tempted with a behind-the-grill glimpse at Craig Culver preparing the restaurant’s signature combination, a Bacon Deluxe ButterBurger and handcrafted Chocolate Shake.
