Airservices Australia and European Aeronautical Group sign dealership agreement.

Airservices Australia and European Aeronautical Group – EAG – 6 October signed a Navdata dealership agreement. Through this agreement, Airservices Australia will market and sell EAG’s Navdata products to customers in Australasia and the Far East. European Aeronautical Group UK Ltd. gains approval to ED-76 today.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) 3 August issued its first ED-76 Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Type 1 to European Aeronautical Group UK Ltd. The LoA number is EASA.LOA.0001 ED-76 is the European equivalent of RTCA Do200A and contains Standards for Processing Aeronautical Data. With the advent of P-RNAV the Aviation Authorities decided in the interests of Air Safety, that operators should purchase their FMS databases from an approved supplier. British Airways and British Airways CitiExpress First Users of European Aeronautical Group’s eAerad Electronic Charts Product.

At a meeting 6 July, British Airways and European Aeronautical Group agreed the terms for the use by BA and BA CitiEXpress of eAerad, EAG’s electronic adaptation of the well-known Aerad aeronautical charts. eAerad, which was launched at EAG’s Customer Seminar in London in May, is based on EAG’s successful eRM platform. Finnair takes charts and route documentation from European Aeronautical Group.

In connection with their move towards a less paper flight-deck environment, Finnair 18 March signed a five years’ agreement for EAG’s Route Manual and eRM electronic charts.
