    JM selling rental property in Igelsta, Södertälje

    JM has signed an agreement with Telge Bostäder AB for the sale of a rental property located in Igelsta, Södertälje. The transaction amounts to SEK 209m.The property being sold is the project Igelsta Trädkrona (Sågverket 12), which consists of 96 residential units with a total gross area of 6,706 sqm, of which 4,373 sqm is residential area, and includes 45 parking spaces. Construction is completed, and the total rental value is approximately SEK 14m, with rental income amounting to approximately SEK 13m.     JM signs agreement on acquisition of building rights for residential development in Høn-Landås, Asker

    JM has signed an agreement for the acquisition of building rights for the development of approximately 350 residential units in Høn in Asker, just outside Oslo. The agreement is conditional on a legally binding detailed plan and amounts to approximately SEK 460m.Payment of approximately SEK 20m is paid in connection with the conclusion of the agreement. Thereafter, 50 percent of the purchase price is paid at the time of the decided detailed plan and the remaining 50 percent no later than 36 months after the detailed plan has gained legal force.     JM has signed an agreement for the sale of a property located in Tønsberg, in Vestfold county. The transaction amounts to approximately SEK 47m.The property being sold consists of undeveloped industrial land previously assessed to have potential for residential development corresponding to approximately 11,000 square meters of living space. The sales price amounts to approximately SEK 47m, which provides a profit from property sales of approximately SEK 7m.     JM announces potential lay-offs

    In order to adapt the operations to lower production volumes, JM is announcing 145 potential lay-offs within the production organization in Sweden due to redundancy.Despite signs of an improved housing market, it remains cautious. The market situation has led to new housing projects not being able to start at the same pace and with the corresponding number of residential units as in the projects that have been completed.     JM selling rental property in Uppsala

    JM has signed an agreement with Hemvist for the sale of a rental property located in Bäcklösa, Uppsala. The transaction amounts to SEK 348m.The property being sold is the project Lindblomman (Uppsala Ultuna 2:29), which consists of 134 residential units located in the new attractive residential area Bäcklösa in Uppsala. The transaction will take the form of a corporate sale.   Production is estimated to start in the third quarter of 2024 and revenue and profit from the transaction will be recognized gradually over the course of the project within the JM Residential Sweden business

    Change in JM’s Executive Management

    Malin Lundgren, Director of Human Resources, has chosen to leave JM.Malin will leave her position on July 5, 2024, after nearly four years with the company.     JM has signed an agreement for the sale of commercial property located in Frihamnen, in Stockholm. The transaction amounts to SEK 92m after deduction for deferred tax.The property Stockholm Haifa 1 consists of approximately 3,560 square meters of lettable area and is located in the future development area Frihamnen. Since the assessment has been made that no development of the property will be granted in the near future, JM has decided on the sale to an actor who, within its operations, has better opportunities to develop the property under the current conditions.     JM has signed an agreement for the sale of a rental property located in Järfälla, Stockholm.     JM has signed an agreement with Bonnier Fastigheter AB for the sale of a rental property in Rissne, Sundbyberg. The transaction amounts to SEK 410m.The property being sold is the project Dyrvers Kulle (Lådmakaren 5), which consists of 123 residential units. The property has been completed, and the legal title will be transferred in Q2 2024.     The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of shareholders of JM AB met on April 18, 2024, and adopted all of the proposals of the Board of Directors and the Nomination Committee.The AGM approved the Income Statement, the Balance Sheet, the Consolidated Income Statement and the Consolidated Balance Sheet. The AGM resolved to pay a dividend of SEK 3 per share. The record date for payment has been set on Monday, April 22, 2024.     Mikael Åslund new President and CEO of JM

    JM’s board has appointed Mikael Åslund as the new President and CEO from June 1, 2024. He will succeed Johan Skoglund, who will retire at the same time.Mikael Åslund comes most recently from the role of Business Unit Manager JM Property Development and has been employed at JM since 2000. He has a Master of Science degree from Luleå University of Technology and has completed the Master of Science program at the Stockholm School of Business.     AB Borätt has acquired building rights for the development of approximately 220 residential units located in Sollentuna just north of Stockholm.
