NCC has sold a 148-apartment housing project in central Berlin, to the institutional investor Bayerische Versorgungskammer, for SEK 315 million. Transfer and earnings recognition will occur upon completion, in the third quarter of 2014.

The project, which is located on Liesenstraβe 3-5, in central Berlin, has a total living area of approximately 12 400 square meters and an underground garage.

The apartments are built into one single building block and are ranging in size from 1,5 to 4 rooms covering areas from 33 to 123 square meters.

“Our sales towards the investor market is an important part of NCC Housing’s business and amounts to about 28 percent of the total number of homes sold so far this year”, says Joachim Hallengren, President NCC Housing.

The sale will be recognized in profit in the NCC Housing business area.
