Tailored to the perfect size: the new Ahoi neomatik 38 date

Compact timekeeping: the new Ahoi neomatik 38 date from NOMOS Glashütte is powered by the automatic caliber DUW 6101, which was previously only used in cases over 40 mm in diameter.

GLASHÜTTE, OCTOBER 25, 2023. The NOMOS caliber DUW 6101 is something special: a slim, very efficient automatic movement developed and manufactured in-house. Until now, it was only found in watch cases with a diameter of more than 40 millimeters, but now it also fits into a smaller NOMOS watch: the new Ahoi neomatik 38 date.

How? For the new ideal dimensions, the date ring of the slim movement was adjusted, carefully tailored just a little smaller in our Glashütte facilities. The result: a new watch that is ideal for almost all wrists. Thus, for the first time, the well-known NOMOS model Ahoi is also available in the classic size of exactly 38.5 millimeters.

The movement retains its unique advantages even after being shrunk. For example, the bidirectional quick change date adjustment and the short switching time of the date at midnight. It goes without saying that the Ahoi neomatik 38 date is reliably water resistant, sporty, and robust; only rarely does the combination of all these properties succeed as convincingly as it does here. And after sports? Ahoi nestles slimly under the cuff and doesn't show off. It is an elegant watch that accompanies you everywhere—to any kind of evening event and to every professional occasion.
