Peab renovates and expands elementary school in Helsinki

Peab has been commissioned to expand and renovate an elementary school in Pohjois Haaga in Helsinki. The customer is the city of Helsinki and the contract is worth EUR 14 million.

The project entails a total renovation as well as construction of two new buildings. The current school building consists of three parts.

“We have a lot of experience renovating school buildings in the capital region. We’re pleased that we can now carry out this project and continue to take advantage of the expertise in our organization,” says Marko Rinkinen, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction starts in September 2021 and the project is expected to be completed in November 2022.

The project will be order registered in the third quarter 2021.
