Reinier de Graaf opts for “Infrastructure as a service” from PROACT
The Reinier de Graaf Hospital has just signed an agreement to establish an ‘IT infrastructure as a service’ with Databasement, which became part of Proact in January 2011. Under this agreement Reinier de Graaf has for the next five years secured itself a fully-hosted and managed server and storage infrastructure based in two secure data centres.The services which will be provided are primary storage, archiving and backup. Proact is also responsible for the server infrastructure and is supplying managed virtual server and workstation capacity based on the virtualisation technology of VMWare.
