    Mandal Red Cross Hjelpekorps extend their fleet of RESCUERUNNERs

    The Mandal Red Cross Hjelpekorps are increasing their water rescue capacity and have chosen to invest in yet another RescueRunner system.The Mandal Red Cross Hjelpekorps is a rescue station in southern Norway with volunteer personnel. The operational environment requires a very robust boat which made them choose the RescueRunner system. The Norwegian Sea Rescue Society have ordered two RescueRunners to use as daughter crafts onboard their future larger sea rescue vessels.The Norwegian Sea Rescue Society is a nationwide humanitarian association whose purpose is to save lives, salvage assets and protect the coastal environment of Norwegian waters, as well as undertaking outreach and accident prevention initiatives to improve the safety of those at sea in Norway and abroad.     Gauldal Brann og Redning (Fire and Rescue Sevices) chooses RescueRunner for swift water rescue

    To minimize the number of drownings that occurs every year in the river that runs through the two Norwegian counties called Midtre Gauldal and Melhus, the local fire rescue services will now invest in a RescueRunner system.Gauldal Brann og Redning, south of Trondheim, Norway with their eight part-time stations have the main responsibility for all swift water rescue as well as for searching for missing persons along the coast where the river runs out in the sea.     Sarpsborg Brann- og Feievesen increases their water search-and-rescue capabilities with a RescueRunner system.Sarpsborg brann- og feievesen has over 600 missions per year and many of them are related to search-and-rescue in the rivers, lakes and along the coastlines they are covering in their territorial area. We had the pleasure of having representatives from their organisation testing the RescueRunner system already in May 2017 and we are now delighted to learn that the RescueRunner system fitted their operational needs best and that they have chosen to invest in a system of their own.

    Norwegian distributor invests in the RescueRunner system

    Safe at Sea's (publ) Norwegian partner Hode over Vann AS has placed an order for a RescueRunner system. The system will be used in their swift water trainings for Norwegian fire brigades and for demonstrations to the same segment as well as to the Pollution Emergency Response Organizations (IUA), Red Cross and the Fish Farming Industry.Since the interest for Safe at Sea AB’s (publ.) products has continuously increased in the Norwegian market during 2017 this has become a key target market.
