Regent Street welcomes the Paralympic Torch
Regent Street is delighted to welcome the Paralympic Games to London. Tomorrow, Wednesday 29 August, the torch will arrive in the splendour of Regent Street where the convoy will travel in the sunshine of a late summer morning at approximately 10.40am, before making its way through Westminster to the Olympic Stadium for the opening ceremony.The torch will make its way on the final leg of the journey over a 24 hour period from Stoke Mandeville – the home of Paralympic sports, to London’s West End.
