SSAB’s steel in world record bridge in UAE
SSAB’s long-standing customer ViaCon in Poland produced the corrugated steel plates used to build a bridge in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. The bridge span, measuring 32.39 m, has already earned a place in the Guinness World Records book as “the largest metal buried bridge span”. SSAB’s S500MC steel was used as the basic material to make the corrugated plates at the ViaCon factory in Rydzyna, Poland.
