SSAB has appointed Per Olof Stark as the future head of the Special Steels business (Quenched & Tempered Steels) in the new SSAB which is planned following a combination of SSAB and Rautaruukki.On January 22, 2014, plans were announced for a combination of SSAB and Rautaruukki by means of SSAB issuing a recommended share exchange offer to Rautaruukki’s shareholders. In connection with the announcement, Melker Jernberg was appointed as head of the planned special steels division in the combined company.
