    SSAB has announced that the environmentally friendly pre-painted coating GreenCoat is now available with high strength steel.SSAB Prelaq GreenCoat is a new type of color coating for steel that is developed from rapeseed oil instead of traditional fossil oil based solvents. The result is an improved coated steel product with longer lasting color as well as a significantly reduced environmental footprint. Until now, GreenCoat has been reserved for use with Prelaq pre-painted steel from SSAB that is commonly used as roofing, wall coverings, rainwater systems and other building applications.
